Great value for money

We went there twice. The food was great the first time, but unfortunately not the second.

Delicious food, we'll be back.

Chance hit in transit. Simple dishes, however: Wonderful, authentic Swabian cuisine, clear and finely prepared just like mother's. Friendly service. And a small swimming lake nearby. Also worth a detour.

Good food, fast and friendly service

You have to experience it. The food was good and the service was friendly.

Super friendly service! The food was really delicious and you didn't have to wait long. It wasn't too expensive and the portions were really more than adequate. You couldn't really fault anything. I am really very satisfied and will definitely go again.

In the immediate vicinity of the Sonnenhalde Wildlife Park is the Hopfendolde guesthouse, where the three of us spontaneously stopped at lunchtime after visiting the park. Service and kitchen were each staffed by only one person, which led to stress, hectic pace and mutual effort (!) On the host side and noticeably longer waiting times on the host side. Even the drinks had to be remembered. We also found the fact that the homemade spaetzle suddenly ran out and many dishes on the small menu could no longer be ordered. If the spaetzle is homemade, why not just mix a new dough and scrape it fresh? Instead, the guests at the neighboring table are told that spaetzle is only available in the evening. Fortunately, we had already ordered kässpätzle and a change of side dish (which was recorded with a loud sigh - not quite the fine way). Apart from that, the overall impression was positive, the room is cozy, we were treated friendly and the food was great - especially the delicious sauce with the gypsy schnitzel, really homemade and nice and spicy.

Extremely unfriendly and overwhelmed service, poor service, service does not wear a mask and on the toilet the toilet brushes lie on the sink, as does the trash can ... It can hardly be more unsanitary ...

Good food at a good price and service absolutely friendly and courteous ..

We got a place for 4 people at very short notice, despite a holiday. Service was great and food, as always, good. Well the mushroom cream sauce for 2.50 euros (per child) was not appropriate for the price. We still like to come back!

Delicious good middle class food, nice staff, enough parking spaces. Fried potatoes with fried eggs and spring onions deliciously delicious, see picture.

Good home cooking, friendly served at a fair price. Parking is available across the street.

Super delicious food, perfect after a tour in the wildlife park. Very child friendly.

Giant portion of friendly service and the price fits

We wanted to eat there with our children today. Since there was no space on the terrace, we wanted to sit down. Suddenly the unfriendly service came from behind and berated us that we should do a bit faster. Of course we left again.

For 4 people very small portion fries / refills was charged extra. Price - performance is not right.

Inconspicuous inn with extremely delicious food. If you like it hearty and hearty, you should definitely eat here. Thanks and gladly again!
